Everyone's Favorite Golf Club

What changes is the width of your stance according to the shot you are playing not the ball position. With a full swing your right foot will be moved further away from the left, increasing the stance width for more balance. In a half of three-quarter swing your stance will be narrower by moving the non-target or right foot closer in toward your left foot.

Finally, when you do take your driver to the range, make it a firm rule to never hit more than three balls with titleist 910h hybrid in a row with it. Even if they are all superb shots, it is easy to get seduced by the driver's power and start overreaching. Remember: it's just a big 7-iron.

A clean club will move grass and other debris out of the way so you can hit your ball cleanly. When this happens you will get the proper amount of spin from the ball. The way to clean the club is to use a wet towel or a brush.

The towel will get rid of all the excess dirt in the grooves of the club. A brush will get the hard dirt that doesn't seem to come out with the towel. If you don't have a brush available then a golf tee will work just as well. Just use the end with the tip and slide it through the groves.

The driver. Everyone's favorite club. Or rather, the club we all wish were our favorite. Instead, we have an ongoing love/hate relationship with it that just doesn't need to be. Here's how to practice with your driver so you can get the ball in the fairway, well, not every time, but make those misses be the exception rather than the rule.

Instead, practice with your 7-iron. Groove your 7-iron. Make a row of nice, easy passes at the ball with this club and then pick up your driver. Put the same swing on it. Don't change a thing.
